About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Risk Analyst to join our team.
You will play a vital role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across the organization.
This role requires a strong understanding of risk management principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Key Responsibilities:
Risk Identification & Assessment:
- Identify and analyze potential risks across various departments and business processes.
- Conduct risk assessments to evaluate the likelihood and impact of identified risks.
- Develop and maintain risk registers and databases.
- Stay informed about emerging risks and regulatory changes.
Risk Mitigation & Control:
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and controls.
- Monitor the effectiveness of risk controls and make recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with departments to implement risk management procedures.
- Assist in the development of contingency plans.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Collect and analyze data to identify trends and patterns related to risk.
- Prepare reports and presentations on risk assessments, mitigation plans, and risk metrics.
- Develop and maintain risk dashboards and key risk indicators (KRIs).
Compliance & Governance:
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies related to risk management.
- Assist in the development and implementation of risk management frameworks.
- Participate in audits and reviews of risk management processes.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Collaborate effectively with stakeholders across the organization, including management, department heads, and other relevant parties.
- Communicate risk-related information clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Essential:
- Bachelor's / master's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in risk analysis or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
- Knowledge of risk management principles and frameworks (e., COSO, ISO 31000).
Preferred:
- Experience in [Industry-specific - e., financial services, healthcare, technology].
- Experience with risk management software or GRC platforms
