Key skills for the job
- The Risk Analyst will play a critical role in managing operational risks within the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) team at Crif Highmark.
- The position requires monitoring, assessing, and mitigating risks across various operational areas, producing detailed risk reports, and supporting the implementation of the Risk Management Framework to ensure organizational resilience.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head of ERM in implementing the Risk Management Framework across Crif Highmark and its functions.
- Perform Risk Control Self-Assessments (RCSA) in collaboration with various functions, acting as part of the second line of defense.
- Promote a strong risk management culture within the organization and increase awareness of the lines of defense.
- Identify, document, and monitor Risk Mitigation Action Plans.
- Conduct detailed process walkthroughs, process mapping, and identification of significant risks and controls.
- Maintain and periodically review the Enterprise Risk Management Risk Register.
- Report on Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and ensure financial impacts of operational incidents are reviewed and analyzed.
- Monitor the impact of new product assessments, strategic changes, and business initiatives on the organization's risk profile.
- Collaborate with other assurance functions (e.g., Compliance, Internal Audit) to align on organizational goals.
- Prepare risk management presentations and track actionables and meeting outcomes.
- Conduct product risk assessments at all stages: pre-launch, go-live, and ongoing monitoring.
- Support Business Continuity Management (BCM) governance as part of the operational risk framework.
- Provide training on risk management to employees and maintain trackers and deliverables associated with the framework.
- Leverage technical knowledge of systems and data to ensure optimal technology use in risk management processes.
Skills and Qualifications Required:
Education:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree or equivalent (preferably in Commerce or MBA).
Experience:
- 4+ years of relevant experience in risk management, operational risk, or audit functions, ideally in the BFSI sector or regulated entities.
- Strong understanding of banking processes; knowledge of Certified Information Companies (CICs) is a plus.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in operational risk concepts, process design, and governance.
- Basic understanding of IT processes, networks, and cloud computing is an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with advanced skills in Excel (functions, macros).
