Manager - Internal Audit & Operational Risk - Wealth Management Firm (3-7 yrs)

About the Role :

Looking for an Internal Auditor who can lead and add value to our operations & business functions by creating a systematic and disciplined approach to the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes. The candidate will lead and enhance the Internal Audit framework for the group and build a strong team over the period that can manage and add value to this function.

Job Responsibilities:

- Initiate and install a strong IA & operational risk management culture within the group umbrella.

- Train and onboard all business head / key leaders so that the IA and OR function gets deeply ingrained within all teams.

- Frame the internal audit scope and develop quarterly executable plans.

- Perform the full audit cycle including operational risk management and control management across business & functions to gauge operations' effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations.

- Conduct internal audits for business processes across all teams. This includes planning & execution of audits, as well as timely and effective escalation of control deficiencies, process gaps, documentation needs etc and validation of management's remediation on all identified issues.

- Managing and leading regular risk assessments to monitor performance, exception management and continuously develop the systems by providing valuable inputs into formulation and expansion of the Audit plan / framework.

- Identify cost optimization opportunities as needed.
