About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and data-driven Sales Analyst to join our team.
You will play a key role in analyzing sales data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to drive sales performance and revenue growth.
This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex data effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Data Analysis:
- Collect, clean, and analyze sales data from various sources (CRM, ERP, marketing automation, etc.
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in sales data.
- Analyze sales performance by product, region, customer segment, and sales rep.
- Track key sales metrics (e.g , sales revenue, conversion rates, average deal size, customer acquisition cost).
- Conduct sales forecasting and provide insights into future sales performance.
Sales Reporting & Visualization:
- Develop and maintain sales dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Create compelling data visualizations (charts, graphs, dashboards) to communicate insights effectively.
- Prepare presentations and reports to communicate findings to sales management and other stakeholders.
Sales Process Optimization:
- Analyze sales processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide recommendations for optimizing sales strategies and tactics.
- Support the implementation of sales process improvements.
Sales Support & Collaboration:
- Provide ad-hoc data analysis and reporting to support sales teams and management.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and other departments to improve sales effectiveness.
- Assist in the development of sales training materials and presentations.
Qualifications:
Essential:
- 3+ years of experience in sales analysis or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Excel with advanced functions (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data analysis tools).
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g , Tableau, Power BI, Google Data Studio).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Bachelor's / master's degree in Business, Finance, Statistics, or a related field
