Senior Site Engineer/ Lead Engineer

Job Summary:The Senior Site Engineer / Lead Engineer (Civil) will be responsible for supervising and managing the construction activities on-site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and coordinating with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to deliver successful project outcomes. The role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and an in-depth understanding of civil engineering principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Supervision:
• Lead and manage civil engineering projects on-site, ensuring work is carried out according to design, specifications, and local regulations.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of contractors and subcontractors on-site.
• Monitor the progress of the project and report on timelines, risks, and any issues that arise.

• Site Management:
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards on-site.
• Inspect and monitor the quality of materials, workmanship, and progress.
• Resolve any technical and engineering challenges that arise during construction.

• Coordination and Liaison:
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on design and execution.
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure materials are delivered on time and to specification.
• Assist in managing project schedules and budgets.

• Quality Assurance:
• Oversee quality control procedures to ensure the final construction meets required standards.
• Ensure all testing, inspections, and certifications are conducted as necessary.

• Reporting and Documentation:
• Prepare and submit regular reports on the progress of the project, including any issues and changes.
