Plant And Machinery Engineer

Job Summary: The Plant, Machinery, and Vehicle Manager is responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance, and management of all plant equipment, machinery, and vehicles status in construction site. This role ensures that all assets are functioning efficiently and safely, minimizing downtime and optimizing performance to support the company's operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management:

• Supervise the day-to-day operations of plant and machinery.
• Ensure all equipment is operated in accordance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Monitor machinery performance and implement necessary adjustments to maintain optimal efficiency.
• Managing diesel theft prevention and utilization.
• Checking day - day Vehicles status and their maintenance check.

Maintenance:

• Develop and oversee preventive maintenance schedules.
• Coordinate and supervise repair and maintenance activities.
• Maintain records of all maintenance and repair work performed.

Team Leadership:

• Lead and manage a team of technicians and operators.
• Provide training and development opportunities to team members.
• Ensure that all staff are knowledgeable about and comply with safety procedures.

Procurement and Inventory:

• Manage the procurement of machinery and spare parts.
• Maintain an inventory of essential parts and supplies.
• Negotiate with suppliers to ensure the best prices and terms.

Budgeting and Reporting:

• Prepare and manage budgets for plant and machinery operations.
• Generate regular reports on equipment performance, maintenance activities, and expenses.
• Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and cost savings.

Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure standards are met.
• Address any compliance issues promptly and effectively.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in plant and machinery management.
• Strong knowledge of machinery maintenance and operations.
• Strong Knowledge on Vehicles status.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Proficient in budgeting and financial management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills:
