Zonal Sales Manager ( Team Lead Role) : FMCG Distribution for a Renowned SaaS based technology Logistic Company


We are looking out to hire for the position of one of my Reputed Client which is an Indian Logistics & Distribution Company that leverage SaaS technology to create an extensive Rural and Semi Urban Distribution Supply Chain Network.

Job Detail:

Position: Zonal Sales Manager for Maharashtra region & Gujarat Region

Team Lead Role: Yes

Position Report to: Director

No of Positions: 2 (1 for Maharashtra and 1 for Gujarat)

Location: Pune, Nagpur, Solapur , Ahmednagar and Ahmedabad

Years of Experience: 10-14 Years

Preferred Industry: FMCG/ Telecom, warehousing and distribution led FMCG, E-commerce, or consumer-focused industries

About the Role:

- The individual will have primary day-to-day responsibility for increasing coverage in his/her zone by working building a network of partners for distribution of FMCG products and commodity in semi urban and rural areas.

- The incumbent is expected to lead and manage a large, distributed team which would be responsible for building a strong network for FMCG goods and commodities to retailers in semi urban and rural space.

- Team Building & Leadership

- Market Expansion & Retailer Engagement

- Partner & Stakeholder Management

- The above individual reporting into the State Sales Head, will be a part of the Sales Leadership Team that will be responsible for building sales and distribution network in respective state

Qualification Pedigree:

- MBA/Postgraduate from reputed B-School, preferably Operations, Sales & Marketing.

Candidate Profile:

- Strong sales experience in the domain of mass distribution

- Should have the experience of increasing pan coverage and sales

- Experience of working with different stakeholders and support teams spread across the country

- Competitive CTC aligned with industry standards.
