Technical Services Engineer Expert

• Role and Responsibilities:We are looking for a Network Operation Specialist to join our Network Operations team
• The ideal candidate must possess 11 to 13 years of hands-on experience in network operations, with a strong focus on CISCO, Juniper, and Palo Alto platforms
• Previous experience in a production network environment, particularly in security, LAN, and WAN, is highly valued
• The Network Operation Specialist will be responsible for maintaining the uptime of critical services, monitoring network performance, and providing advanced troubleshooting support 24X365
• The role requires effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and engaging with the Technical Assistance Center (TAC) to resolve incidents and implement best practices
• With the goal of achieving a service uptime of 99
• 99 and minimizing Mean Time To Resolution (MTTR), the position requires proactive monitoring and cross-functional communication to address incidents and optimize network performance
• Provide mentorship and guidance to L2 engineers, enhancing their technical skills and problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities

• Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Ongoing monitoring and management of the network infrastructure
• Advanced troubleshooting and incident management, including root cause analysis (RCA)
• Participation in S1P1 incidents to guide the Level 2 team and collaborate with TAC
• Ensure service uptime of 99
• 99 for all critical services and identify single points of failure
• Maintain patch management and provide technical support for device hardening and security best practices
• Engage in new project discussions, providing technical inputs for high-level design (HLD) and low-level design (LLD) phases
• Adhere to established SLAs and continuously improve processes through documentation updates and knowledge transfer

Requirements

• Minimum of 11 to 13 years of experience in network operations
• Can support 24X7 Rotational shift operation model
• Extensive hands-on experience with CISCO, Juniper, and Palo Alto platforms, including relevant devices and firewalls
• Strong knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, MPLS, OSPF) and switching technologies (VLAN, HSRP, STP)
• Hands-on experience with:oCISCO Devices: 1900/2900/2800/3900, ASR routers, Nexus Series (9300)
• oJuniper Devices: MX5 T, EX4200, EX9208, EX3400, SRX series
• oPalo Alto Firewalls and Prisma: 30xx/14xx/52xx with Panorama management
• Technical degree and/or equivalent experience preferred
