Accounts Receivable specialist with 2-3 years of experience

We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist with 2-3 years of experience to join our dynamic team at Freyr Solutions. The ideal candidate will manage client accounts, ensure accurate invoicing, and oversee timely collections.

Roles Responsibilities

Prepare and send accurate invoices to clients in a timely manner.

Monitor and ensure compliance with invoicing guidelines and client agreements.

Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and accurately posted.

Posts customer payments by recording cash, check, and credit card transactions.

Tracks revenues by verifying and entering transactions from the local deposits.

Verifies validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales, trade promotions, and customer service.

Monitor outstanding balances and follow up with clients for timely payments.

Escalate overdue accounts when necessary and coordinate with the legal/credit team as needed.

Generate regular AR aging reports and provide insights to management.

Track key metrics like DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) and collection effectiveness.

Maintain professional and effective communication with clients regarding billing, payments, and account queries.

Address and resolve client disputes or issues promptly.

Identify opportunities for process optimization within the AR function.

Contribute to the development of AR-related policies and procedures.

Required skills and qualifications

Strong mathematical skills

Understanding of basic principles of finance, accounting, and bookkeeping

Superb time management and detail orientation

Ability to keep company and partner confidences

Preferred skills and qualifications

Associate s degree or equivalent

Experience in accounts receivable (or accounts payable)

Experience in driving process improvement
