Accounts Receivable Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the entire accounts receivable process, ensuring timely and accurate billing and collections
• Monitor customer accounts for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities
• Initiate and maintain customer communication regarding outstanding balances through calls and emails
• Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to resolve customer disputes and discrepancies
• Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable status and cash flow projections for management review
• Implement and refine AR processes and policies to improve efficiency and effectiveness
• Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable

Pre-requisites:

• Strong understanding and application of US GAAP fundamentals
• Diploma/Degree in Accounting /Finance (or related fields), Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent
• 3 to 6 years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar financial role
• Demonstrated experience with accounting software and ERP systems
• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and compliance standards
