We are seeking a Pre-Sales System Engineer to collaborate with our sales team in South India, enabling enterprise customers to leverage Fortinet's technology-driven solutions to secure their networks.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Pre-Sales Enablement :
- Drive technical qualification of sales leads, leveraging a deep understanding of Fortinet's product portfolio and customer requirements.
- Develop and deliver tailored technical presentations and demos showcasing Fortinet's solutions.
- Respond to RFPs with precise technical documentation, compliance mapping, and active participation in pre-bid discussions.
- Solution Architecture & Consultation
- Design and recommend architecture solutions involving SD-WAN, SDN, Cloud Security, and Virtualization.
- Act as a trusted advisor to enterprise clients, demonstrating a profound understanding of cybersecurity trends and technologies.
- Collaborate with SMEs to create Proof of Concept (POC) documentation and ensure solution alignment with customer objectives.
Technical Leadership :
- Lead technical discussions during sales calls, addressing advanced queries around features, integration, and functionality.
- Serve as the technical point of contact for key accounts, providing post-sales guidance and issue resolution in collaboration with technical support teams.
Knowledge Sharing & Innovation :
- Author case studies, white papers, and technical resources that illustrate Fortinet's value in customer and partner ecosystems.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing best practices, fostering innovation, and mentoring peers.
Qualifications :
- We are looking for a technology-savvy professional with a strong passion for cybersecurity and technical sales.
Experience :
- 8+ years in technical/pre-sales roles; 5-7 years in Networking & Security.
Technical Expertise :
- Proficiency in SD-WAN, SDN, Cloud Security, NFV, and Virtualization.
- Prior experience with OEMs is preferred.
Skills :
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills, problem-solving mindset, and a consultative approach to solution selling.
- Certifications (Preferred): CCIE, NSE, or equivalent technical certifications
