NPST - Senior System Engineer - Network Security (5-8 yrs)

We provide software and digital payment solutions to the BFSI Industry as a Technology service provider.

We function as a Technology Service Provider (TSP) and a Third-Party Aggregator Provider (TPAP), catering to stakeholders across the financial value chain, including banks, merchant aggregators, merchants, and consumers.

We got listed targeting SME IPO in Aug - 2021 on the NSE Emerge platform with a market cap of 2000 Cr (as of Mar'24) and became NPCIan approved Merchant Payment Service Provider, acquiring merchants and facilitating payment.

NPST has a marquee clientele having 10 Banks and 30+ PAPG and Merchants.

What will you do.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the organization's IT infrastructure, with a focus on ensuring system stability, security, and performance.

This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual with strong technical expertise and the ability to collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence.

Job Responsibilities :

System Administration :

- Manage and maintain server infrastructure.

- Install, configure, and maintain Apache HTTP Server, Apache Tomcat, and Red Hat-based systems.

- Perform configurations for FTP/SFTP, host files, SSL certificates, and load balancers.

- Implement system hardening and monitor system performance.

- Develop shell scripts to automate tasks and improve system efficiency.

Middleware Administration :

- Expertise in administering Apache Tomcat and related troubleshooting and optimization tasks.

- Collaborate with developers to deploy and maintain applications.

Red Hat Configuration & Management :

- Configure and manage Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers.

- Implement robust security measures and ensure compliance with best practices.

Performance Monitoring & Optimization :

- Monitor system health and address performance issues proactively.

- Optimize server and application performance through regular tuning and updates.

Security & Compliance :

- Enforce security policies and ensure systems meet compliance standards.

- Stay updated on the latest security trends and emerging threats.

Backup & Disaster Recovery :

- Develop and test robust backup and disaster recovery plans.

Collaboration & Documentation :

- Work with cross-functional teams on various projects.

- Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, troubleshooting steps, and procedures.

Automation :

- Implement scripts to automate routine tasks.

- Explore and deploy tools for efficient system management.

What are we looking for :

- Proficiency in MPLS, VPN, and advanced networking technologies.

- Strong knowledge of network security principles and experience with Cisco or similar networking equipment.

- Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent is highly desirable.

- Excellent troubleshooting, collaboration, and communication skills.

- Detail-oriented and organized with strong time management skills.

Education Qualification Graduate.

Experience Total Experience : 8+ years.

Industry IT/Software/BFSI/ Banking /Fintech.

Work arrangement - 5 days working from office.

Location - Noida.
