System Engineer - JBOSS/Tomcat/WebLogic (9-11 yrs)

Job Description

- 8 + years of experience as a professional systems engineer.

- Good Experience of Jenkins CI/CD , GIT and GitHub

- Strong experience on JBOSS, Tomcat, Apache and WebLogic Admin

Must Have :

- Good Experience on Installation, configuration and administration of Jboss/Tomcat/WebLogic servers, deploying EAR, WARs and configuring application specific JVM settings and have experience in tuning, troubleshooting skills.

- Good Experience of SSL certificate management.

- Good Experience on two scripting languages on any of Ansible (or) Shell/Bash (or) Python (or) PHP Scripting languages.

- Working experience on root cause analysis and documenting findings, providing evidence, writing standard operating procedures and rigorous adherence to same.

- Must Have Good understanding on Linux (Commands mandatory), Database and Network

- Good experience in Deployment and release management experience.

- Be organized, thorough, and extremely detail oriented; taking ownership/responsibility of overall work quality

- Collaborate with internal support and engineering teams and 3rd party vendors on problems and solutions and ability to lead a technical team of peers toward issue resolution.

- Bring new ideas that stretch our bounds and move the team to the next level.

- Demonstrable experience with production operations issue management and response.

- Participates in On-Call rotation support.

- Identifies automation opportunities by communicating and collaborating with the team

- Good to have experience on Monitoring tools like AppDynamics, Filebeat, Nagios, ELK/Kibana, Grafana.

- Server administration (patching, upgradation, deploying servers and server farms).

- Understanding of the principles of operations Experience hands-on with production systems.

- Understanding of the principles of operations.

Skill Set :

DevOps Skills :

- Jenkins(CI/CD) , Git and GitHub

Scripting Skills (Any two) :

- Ansible ,Shell/Bash , Python , PHP

Middleware :

- JBOSS, Tomcat, Reverse Proxy, Apache, nginx, WebLogic Admin,
