Job description:

- Lead the pre-sales operations for construction projects, providing strategic direction and oversight to the team.

- Understand the project scope, define objectives, and establish a capable team to execute the project.

- Guide the team in gathering and analyzing project information, requesting additional details as required.

- Oversee the team's coordination with design and services departments to ensure all relevant data is obtained.

- Lead initial outreach efforts to architects and general contractors (GCs) for project collaboration.

- Supervise tendering and bidding processes managed by the team, ensuring alignment with project goals and budgets.

- Monitor overall project execution and progress, providing high-level oversight and ensuring milestones are met.

- Ensure the team tracks and monitors project schedules, addressing delays proactively and maintaining alignment with timelines.

- Act as the primary point of escalation for client communications, ensuring strong and healthy client relationships.

- Drive efforts to minimize cost overruns through strategic planning and oversight of team activities.

- Ensure high-quality standards are maintained throughout the project execution lifecycle.

- Verify that permits and licenses are obtained and maintained by the team.

- Provide leadership in identifying and mitigating project risks, and developing contingency plans as required.

- Ensure the team performs cost calculations and collaborates with financial departments to manage budgets.

- Collaborate with senior stakeholders, engineers, architects, and other professionals involved in the project to align objectives and outcomes.

Desired Candidate Profile & Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, building sciences, or a related field.

- Master's degree in a similar discipline is preferred.

- 1-5 years of experience in the construction industry, preferably in a leadership role within pre-sales or operations.

- Proven ability to lead and manage teams, delegating day-to-day tasks effectively while ensuring accountability.

- Proficiency in project tracking tools and technologies for monitoring schedules and progress.

- Strong client management skills with the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships.

- Strategic mindset with experience in overseeing tendering, bidding, and contractor coordination processes.

- Excellent communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.
