Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company sales goals and objectives.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base through proactive outreach, networking, and partnerships.
- Set clear targets and performance expectations for the sales team to drive revenue growth.
- Monitor and analyze sales data and market trends to adjust strategies as needed.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities to enhance team performance and professional growth.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with HR for recruitment, onboarding, and retention of top sales talent.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to ensure long-term partnerships.
- Oversee the sales pipeline, ensuring a steady flow of leads, proposals, and closings.
- Handle escalated customer concerns and work to resolve issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Ensure exceptional customer service throughout the sales process to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Sales Reporting & Performance Analysis:
- Track and report on sales metrics and KPIs, providing regular updates to senior management on team performance.
- Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and other key sales-related reports.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends, gaps, and areas for improvement.
- Implement action plans to address underperformance and capitalize on high-performing areas.
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Communication:
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to ensure alignment of sales strategies and deliver effective sales campaigns.
- Coordinate with the finance team for accurate sales forecasting and invoicing.
- Work closely with customer support to ensure a seamless transition from sales to post-sales service.
Market Research & Competitive Analysis:
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify opportunities and threats.
- Conduct competitor analysis to adjust sales strategies accordingly and maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
- 5+ years of experience in sales, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Experience in sales management, business development, and client relationship management.
- Strong knowledge of sales techniques, CRM software (e.G., Salesforce), and sales analytics tools.
