Role & Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with large modern trade clients by engaging key decision-makers regularly.
• Develop and execute sales projections, business plans, and periodic reviews (weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual).
• Address sales inquiries from both new and existing customers, ensuring prompt and effective communication.
• Track the efficiency of investments and promotions across all modern trade channels, optimizing ROI.
• Document channel claims (damages, trade schemes, and visibility expenses) monthly for audit compliance.
• Process and settle distributor claims within stipulated timelines.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of modern trade channels to identify growth and improvement opportunities.
• Ensure timely processing of returns and claims for damaged or expired goods.
• Maintain detailed sales and stock registers to ensure accuracy and accountability.
• Implement inventory control measures, ensuring optimal stock availability in line with market demand.
• Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive activity to identify growth and innovation opportunities in modern trade channels.
• 5 Days work from office & more than 50% travel domestically

Experience:

• 2-5 years of experience in FMCG modern trade sales. Personal care or D2C experience is a bonus
• Proven track record of successfully onboarding and managing modern trade channels
• Tier 1 MBA

This role requires a proactive, analytical, and relationship-driven individual with a strong understanding of the FMCG modern trade ecosystem and a focus on delivering measurable results.
