Market Research Analyst – Chemicals

We are seeking a detail-oriented Market Research Analyst specifically from the chemical domain and having an experience of collecting and interpreting data and qualitative content from the chemical industry.
Your role will involve providing valuable insights to stakeholders in the chemical industry to help in their decision-making processes related to overall market analysis, sourcing decisions, export decisions etc.
As a successful Market Research Analyst, you will have the ability to independently analyse qualitative data, identify trends, assess strategies, and evaluate competition. Your responsibilities will include gathering and interpreting market research data, generating reports, and presenting findings to stakeholders.
We are looking for a self-motivated professional with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of market dynamics.

Key Responsibilities:
Collecting data and insights of the marketplace and consolidating information into actionable items, reports and presentations.
Interpret the findings to provide valuable insights and recommendations to businesses for informed decision-making and to identify market trends and opportunities.
Help organisation understand the market dynamics, and competitive landscape to drive strategic decision-making and improve overall business performance.
Perform valid and reliable market research SWOT analysis
Interpret data, formulate reports and make recommendations
Use online market research and catalogue findings to databases
Evaluate program methodology and key data to ensure that data on the releases are accurate, and the angle of the release is correct
Remain fully informed on market trends, other parties research and implement best practices

Qualifications and Skills
Proven Market Research Analysis experience
Ability to interpret large amounts of qualitative data and to multi-task
Strong communication and presentation skills
Search engines, web analytics and business research tools acumen
Adequate knowledge of data collection methods
Strong analytical and critical thinking
B.Sc degree in Statistics, Marketing or related field with an experience in the chemical industry
OR
Bachelors/Masters in chemicals engineering with an experience of market research.
Minimum working experience of 3-5 years.
