Job Description

We are looking for an HR Business Partner (HRBP). He/She will play a critical role in aligning HR strategies with the organization goals and objectives. This position is designed for a dynamic professional with hands-on expertise in performance management, talent development, career progression, and learning initiatives. The HRBP will act as a strategic partner to leadership, driving employee engagement, fostering a high-performance culture, and ensuring that all HR practices are in line with the unique needs of an IT setup.
With a focus on developing robust frameworks for KRAs, KPIs, and role clarity, the HRBP will also lead efforts in creating a learning and development roadmap to enhance employee capabilities.
The ideal candidate is a proactive, results-oriented professional who can seamlessly integrate HR strategies with business priorities while building strong relationships across teams.


Roles and Responsibilities:

Performance Management & Measurement:

  • Design and implement robust performance management systems.
  • Define and align Key Result Areas (KRAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for all roles.
  • Monitor performance metrics and provide actionable insights for improvement.

Talent Development & Career Progression:

  • Identify skill gaps and design talent development programs to bridge them.
  • Create clear career progression plans for employees across all levels.
  • Develop succession planning strategies for critical roles.

Goal Setting & Alignment:

  • Collaborate with leadership to establish organizational goals and cascade them to individual roles.
  • Ensure alignment of team objectives with business outcomes.

Learning & Development:

  • Develop and execute learning initiatives to enhance employee capabilities and productivity.
  • Conduct training needs assessments and implement tailored development programs.
  • Partner with leadership to promote a culture of continuous learning and upskilling.

Organizational Design & Role Clarity:

  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the roles, hierarchy, and functions within an IT company setup.
  • Regularly review and refine organizational structures to optimize efficiency and productivity.

HR Analytics & Reporting:

  • Analyze workforce data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement.
  • Present regular reports on performance, engagement, and talent metrics to leadership.

Requirements

Desired Candidate profile:
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in HRBP roles, preferably within a startup or IT environment.
  • Strong expertise in performance management systems, KRA/KPI formulation, and talent development.
  • Clear understanding of career progression frameworks and role hierarchies in IT setups.
  • In-depth knowledge of learning and development practices, including training program design and implementation.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in HR analytics and reporting tools.
  • Hands-on experience in building employee engagement and culture programs.
  • A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields.
