The role involves monitoring team performance, providing training and coaching, driving sales strategies, and ensuring excellent customer engagement.
Responsibilities:
Team Management:
Supervise, coach, and mentor a team of tele sales representatives.
Monitor team performance and individual agent metrics (e.g., call volume, conversion rates, sales revenue).
Conduct regular team meetings to discuss performance, share best practices, and address challenges.
Motivate and inspire the team to achieve and exceed targets.
Handle team scheduling, timekeeping, and attendance.
Address team issues and conflicts promptly and professionally.
Agent Training and Development:
Onboard new tele sales representatives and provide comprehensive training on product knowledge, sales techniques, and company procedures.
Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to agents to improve their performance.
Identify training needs and develop training materials.
Conduct performance reviews and identify areas for improvement.
Implement performance improvement plans (PIPs) when necessary.
Sales Strategy Implementation:
Implement sales strategies and campaigns developed by management.
Ensure that the team understands and follows the sales process.
Monitor the effectiveness of sales strategies and make recommendations for improvement.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
Track and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the team and individual agents.
Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for increased sales.
Prepare and submit regular reports on team performance, sales metrics, and other relevant data.
Customer Relationship Management:
Ensure that the team provides excellent customer service.
Handle escalated customer calls and resolve customer complaints and disputes.
Maintain a positive and professional relationship with customers.
Sales Process Improvement:
Identify areas for improvement in the tele sales process.
Recommend and implement changes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Collaboration:
Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and product development, to ensure alignment with sales goals.
