Job description

• The candidate must be from garment exports background.
• Supervise all procurement activities.
• Maintain accurate records for order placed.
• Collaborate closely with department heads to coordinate for materials used in production schedules, allocate resources
• Place bulk orders for fabrics, trims, laces, buttons, etc.
• Must be knowing good markets and brands for procurement for garment export houses
• Provide leadership and mentorship to procurement staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
• All approvals for fabric have to be cleared by your end be it buying house or buying merchant.
• Testing reports required from internal mill labs
• Ensuring FPT is cleared when fabric is inhouse

Salary: ₹90,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month

Role of the Fabric Manager

KRA

Sourcing Part

1. Understand BOM for each style, give style wise file for all costing from different parties. Fill in the Costing form and then give it.

2. Communicate all quotes on WhatsApp groups

3. ALL PO has to be closed in 5 days, with Orginal copy of costing sheet…

4. Take rates from all vendors for each category, cost sheet will not be accepted without

Fabric Part

1. Give monthly fabric report - All purchase, consumption and balance A) Sampling B) Production

2. Give Fabric report, Job work report like embroidery, schiffli, dying...

TNA

Needed for all fabrics and trims and accessories for each style…

KPI

1. Close all POs in 2 days after getting the BOM

2. Tight TNA has to be meet for production

3. TNA has to be met for sampling

4. No quality issues in fabric or job work

5. Timely reports

6. Best prices, mostly savings from your costing will be calculated…

7. Need daily summary work sheet

8. Need daily summary sampling and fabric sheet
