Position Title: Merchandising Manager
Location: Sector 65, Noida
Department: Merchandising

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Merchandising Manager to lead the merchandising function in our garment manufacturing export house. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end merchandising process, from product concept to delivery, ensuring alignment with customer expectations, maintaining product quality, and achieving financial targets. This role requires strong project management, communication skills, and an in-depth understanding of garment production, trends, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Overlook Full Merchandising

  • Lead the entire merchandising team in managing the product life cycle, from initial inquiry to final shipment. Oversee the flow of communication between sales, production, design, and buyers to ensure smooth execution. Ensure the team adheres to project timelines, quality standards, and customer specifications for all orders.

2. Make TNA (Time and Action Plan) for PD (Product Development) and Production

  • Develop and implement detailed Time and Action Plans (TNA) to track the timelines for both product development and production. Work closely with the design, development, and production teams to ensure that each stage of the process is executed on schedule. Monitor progress and proactively address any delays or challenges to meet deadlines for sample submissions and bulk production.

3. Ensure Timely Delivery for All Styles

  • Monitor all stages of product development and production to ensure timely delivery of all orders. Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and shipping departments to make sure that deadlines are met. Identify potential bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to guarantee that all styles are delivered as per the buyer's expectations.

4. Set System, Process, and SOPs in Merchandising

  • Establish and continuously refine the merchandising system, processes, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the department. Ensure that clear guidelines are in place for order processing, communication with buyers, production scheduling, and documentation management. Standardize operations to improve efficiency, reduce errors, and ensure consistency in the team's approach.

5. Conduct Buyer Meetings & Closure of Satisfactory Responses to Buyers Over Their Claims

  • Lead regular meetings with buyers to discuss order status, feedback, and any issues. Address any concerns or claims raised by buyers and provide satisfactory resolutions. Maintain strong relationships with buyers, ensuring open and effective communication, and managing expectations to achieve customer satisfaction. Ensure that any disputes are handled professionally, and issues are resolved promptly.

6. Monitor Costings

  • Oversee the costing process for all garment styles, ensuring that product margins are aligned with company goals. Review and analyze cost breakdowns for raw materials, labor, and overheads to ensure that the cost structure is competitive yet profitable. Work with the finance and production teams to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality.

7. Ensure Full Department is Working Smoothly

  • Provide leadership and direction to the merchandising department, ensuring that all team members are working efficiently and in harmony. Foster a collaborative environment to enhance productivity and resolve any internal conflicts. Regularly monitor performance, offer feedback, and ensure that resources are allocated appropriately across the team.

8. Check All BOM (Bill of Materials)

  • Ensure that the Bill of Materials (BOM) for each product is accurately compiled and aligned with the production plan. Review all BOMs to confirm that all required materials are included, quantities are correct, and there are no discrepancies that could affect production or timelines. Ensure the team is aligned with sourcing and purchasing the right materials within cost parameters.

9. Give Call Outs to Buyer

  • Proactively communicate with buyers regarding any updates, concerns, or changes in the order status. Provide regular call-outs on progress reports, production milestones, or potential delays. Ensure that buyers are informed in a timely manner, maintaining transparency in communication and building trust with clients.

10. Take Daily Updates from All Merchants

  • Lead daily meetings or check-ins with all merchants to review the status of ongoing orders, production timelines, and any issues that may arise. Ensure that the team stays on track by identifying potential risks early and providing support where necessary. Track all developments and make sure that updates are accurate and communicated effectively across the department.

Pay: ₹ 100000.00 - ₹,150000.00 per month
