Job Title: PPC (Production Planning and Control) Manager
Location: B-7, Sector-65, Noida

The role starts from as we get the buyer PO, each submission till shipping should go on time.

Make TNA & follow them with daily reporting, line planning and capacity planning.

Overview of size set, PP supply, first 5 PES, production, finishing and shipping.

Key Result Areas (KRAs):

1. Production Planning and Scheduling:
• Develop and implement realistic production schedules based on order timelines.
• Ensure alignment of production schedules with customer priorities and deadlines.
• Regularly review and adjust plans based on capacity, material availability, and unforeseen delays.
2. Workflow and Process Optimization:
• Streamline communication between departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Optimize the sequence of production activities to maximize efficiency.
3. Inventory Management:
• Ensure raw material availability for all planned orders without overstocking.
• Maintain an optimal inventory turnover ratio.
4. Cost Management:
• Reduce production costs through effective resource planning.
• Minimize wastage of materials, time, and labor.
• Monitor expenses related to overtime, logistics, and material handling.
5. Team Collaboration and Leadership:
• Effectively coordinate between design, production, quality, and merchandising teams.
• Motivate and mentor the planning and production teams.
• Ensure team compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
6. Compliance and Quality Assurance:
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and client specifications.
• Monitor production processes to ensure ethical practices and compliance with environmental regulations.
7. Reporting and Analysis:
• Prepare detailed reports on production metrics for management.
• Use data analysis to identify areas for improvement and recommend actionable solutions.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

1. Production Efficiency and Output:

• Planned vs. Actual Production: The percentage of planned production achieved within a specified period.
• Production Line Efficiency: Percentage of productive time spent on manufacturing activities.
• First-Pass Yield (FPY): Percentage of garments produced without defects on the first attempt.

2. Delivery Timeliness:

• On-Time Delivery (OTD) Rate: Percentage of orders shipped on or before the deadline.
• Lead Time: Average time taken from order confirmation to shipment.

3. Cost Control and Profitability:

• Cost Variance: Actual production cost compared to the budgeted cost.
• Overtime Costs: Percentage of additional costs incurred due to production delays.
• Wastage Cost: Monetary value of materials wasted during production.

4. Quality Control Metrics:

• Rejection Rate: Percentage of garments rejected during quality checks.
• Customer Complaint Rate: Percentage of complaints received due to quality or delivery issues.
• Defect Rate: Percentage of defective units identified during or after production.
• Training Effectiveness: Improvement in team performance after training sessions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

1. Educational Background:
• Bachelors degree in Textile Technology, Apparel Production, or related fields.
• MBA or certification in Production Planning and Control is a plus.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of garment production processes, from cutting to finishing.
• Proficient in production planning software and tools (e.g., ERP systems).
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
