Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Technician R&D to support our garment manufacturing export house in developing innovative products, improving production processes, and ensuring high-quality standards. The candidate will work closely with the R&D team to conduct trials, analyze fabrics, develop prototypes, and assist in process optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development of new fabrics, trims, and garment designs by conducting research and testing.
• Work on sampling and prototyping, ensuring accuracy in measurements, stitching, and finishing.
• Support the implementation of new garment construction techniques and process improvements.
• Collaborate with designers, pattern makers, and production teams to ensure feasibility of new developments.
• Conduct fabric and garment performance testing to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Monitor the latest industry trends, technologies, and materials to enhance innovation.
• Maintain proper documentation of testing results, trials, and product development reports.
• Assist in resolving technical issues in production related to new developments.
• Ensure adherence to environmental and sustainability standards in R&D activities.
• Work closely with buyers, vendors, and suppliers to source and test new raw materials.
• Simplify operations in the garment.
• Set the assembly line for production.
• Put quality parameters in the new line.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Textile Technology, Fashion Technology, Apparel Manufacturing, or a related field.
• 9-10 years of experience in an R&D or technical role within a garment manufacturing unit.
• Strong understanding of fabric properties, garment construction, and pattern development.
• Hands-on experience with sampling, stitching techniques, and textile testing.
• Proficiency in handling testing equipment, textile lab analysis, and software for design (CAD preferred).
• Ability to analyze test data, troubleshoot problems, and suggest improvements.
• Strong attention to detail, creativity, and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in export-oriented garment manufacturing.
• Knowledge of sustainability practices, eco-friendly textiles, and innovative garment technologies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹ 30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
