We are seeking an experienced HR and Compliance Manager to join our dynamic team and contribute to our growth.

Job Summary

The HR and Compliance Manager will oversee all aspects of human resources and compliance, ensuring adherence to local and international labour laws, customer compliance standards, and ethical manufacturing practices. This role requires hands-on experience in managing audits and implementing systems to ensure the companys operational and ethical standards are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities

Human Resources Management:

  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in alignment with company objectives.
  • Ensure a positive workplace environment by addressing grievances and fostering open communication.
  • Plan and execute performance appraisal systems and employee retention strategies.
  • Making performance reports for all departments
  • Make detailed monthly HR reports
  • Making HR budget, cost analysis of hiring, cost per hire, etc
  • Revenue per employee
  • Employee rating and potential
  • Develop and implement new HR strategies
  • Attend 1:1 meetings with all employees to track their performance
  • Make a rule book and norms for each department by understanding their roles, responsibilities and procedures.
  • Proven experience in conducting performance and appraisal management, additionally must be knowing how to come up with a foolproof monitoring system to track the productivity of all employees on the day to day basis
  • Proven track record as a HR leader

Compliance Management:

  • Ensure compliance with all local labour laws, industry regulations, and international standards.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor compliance programs, policies, and systems to meet organizational objectives.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation for various types of audits, including buyer, social, ethical, and environmental audits.(Sedex, Higgs, CT Pad etc…)
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for auditors and certification bodies.
  • Conduct internal audits and training to ensure compliance standards are upheld.

Audit Management:

  • Lead and coordinate all external and internal audits, including pre-audit preparation, process improvements, and post-audit follow-ups.
  • Implement corrective action plans to address audit findings and ensure timely resolution.
  • Stay updated on changes in compliance standards and ensure the company adapts accordingly.
  • Work closely with production, quality, and management teams to ensure compliance requirements are integrated into operations.
  • Build and maintain relationships with certification bodies, regulatory agencies, and customers.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Compliance, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of experience in HR and compliance roles, preferably in the garment manufacturing Exports House /Textile and Apparel industry.
  • Audit Expertise: Proven experience in managing various types of audits (Sedex, Higgs, CT Pad etc….).
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of local labour laws, international compliance standards, and industry best practices.

The Highlights

  • Responsible to design 360-degree Performance Management System that’s set specific and measurable goals in terms of the company’s strategic needs weekly interactions to ensure continuous improvement in the employee’s performance.
  • Responsibility of Payroll related legal & Statutory Compliance & filling and submit Monthly, Quarterly, Half Yearly & Annual returns of the following Acts : Factories, Contract Labour (R&A) Act, EPF & MP Act, ESIC, Payments of Bonus, Payment of Gratuity, Employment Exchange, Minimum Wages, Maternity Benefit, Payment of Wages, Industrial Employment (Standing Orders) Act- 1946, Employees Compensation, Equal Remuneration, Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition & Redressal) Act-2013, Industrial Disputes etc.
  • Resolving day to day all employee grievances, including Contractual Staff, Drivers, Peon, Helpers, Housekeeping staff, Security Guards.
  • Responsible for various MIS reports Like (Payroll MIS, Head Count, Attrition, Wage Cost etc.).
  • Looking after the enforcement of the provision of all the labour laws and schemes as may be in force, including Employee Provident Fund Act, Employee State Insurance Act, Factory Act, Payment of Wages and Bonus Act, Contractors Bonus Act and the schemes framed thereunder.
  • Complete responsibility of the HR Policies development and implement in Factory premises (Late Coming, Promotion, Leave, Mobile, Travel, Transfer, Job Rotation, Employee Referral, Reward & Recognition, Attendance, Recruitment, Performance Appraisal, Probation & Confirmation, Internet, Dress Code, Grievance Redressal etc.).
  • Responsible for various Contract labours and Contractor’s labours Payroll & Statutory Compliance maintain as per Govt. rules and bills payment entry maintained with SAP Software.
  • Responsibility of developing and improving an effective and efficient HR & various Administrative work.
  • Liaising & maintaining good cordial relationship with various government departments for Properties, Vehicle, Factory, keeps related documents/ Licences/ Agreement/ Insurances etc. and also renew time to time.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
    • Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS systems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
