This role is responsible for coordinating activities of the Revenue and Royalty Accounting team, ensuring accurate and timely recognition of revenue, payment of royalties / taxes, and completion of required government reports.

Location: Bengaluru, India

Key Responsibilities:

• Revenue Recognition: Assist in the review of revenue and royalty accounting entries and ensure timely and accurate completion of accounting tasks
• Royalties Calculation: Assist in preparation and review of stakeholder royalty payments, ensuring compliance with contractual agreements and regulatory requirements.
• Tax Management: Perform review of accounting activities related to government required taxes.
• National Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate completion of required national royalty payments and reporting.
• Audit Support: Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation, responding to inquiries, and ensuring compliance

Qualifications Skills

• Education: Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• CPA or relevant certification is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting / revenue and royalties management, preferably within the oil and gas industry.

• Skills:

• Experience with SAP GUI, SAP S/4 HANA, SAP-PRA, PAS, BlackLine or other revenue accounting systems is preferred.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, especially related to revenue and royalty accounting. Experience with US GAAP accounting standards is a plus.
• Ability to analyze financial data and transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Effective communication skills to liaise with governmental agencies, working/royalty interest owners, and internal teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills to address and resolve discrepancies or issues in financial transactions.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
