ExxonMobil s affiliates in India supporting the Product Solutions business engage in the marketing, sales and distribution of performance as well as specialty products across chemicals and lubricants businesses. The India planning teams are also embedded with global business units for business planning and analytics.

ExxonMobil s LNG affiliate in India supporting the upstream business provides consultant services for other ExxonMobil upstream affiliates and conducts LNG market-development activities.

What role you will play in our team

This role is responsible for accurately recognizing revenue, calculating and paying royalties / taxes, and preparing government required reports. Also, analyze and transmit payments to stakeholders, oversee payment processing, and perform analysis as needed. Additionally, support audits by preparing documentation and address inquiries from internal and external auditors.

What you will do

Revenue Recognition: Accurately and timely recognize revenue in accordance with accounting standards and company policies
Royalties Calculation: Calculate, report, and pay royalties to stakeholders, ensuring compliance with contractual agreements and regulatory requirements
Tax Management: Perform accounting activities related to government required taxes, including calculate, submit, and pay taxes to governmental agencies.
National Reporting: Perform required federal royalty payments and reporting.
Audit Support: Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation, responding to inquiries, and ensuring compliance
Financial Tasks: Handle various financial tasks, including cost bank bookings, reserves updates, and inventory valuation.

About You

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
CPA or relevant certification is a plus
Minimum of 1 years of experience in accounting /revenue and royalties management, preferably within the oil and gas industry
Experience with SAP GUI, SAP S/4 HANA, SAP-PRA, PAS, BlackLine, or other revenue accounting systems is preferred
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, especially related to revenue and royalty accounting; Experience with US GAAP accounting standards is a plus
Ability to analyze financial data and transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance
Effective communication skills to liaise with governmental agencies, working/royalty interest owners, and internal teams
Strong problem-solving skills to address and resolve discrepancies or issues in financial transactions
Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
