Job Title: Senior IT Sales Executive


Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior IT Sales Executive to join our dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving sales in the IT industry, particularly in enterprise solutions, software, hardware, and IT services. This role requires a strong understanding of the IT market, a strategic sales approach, and the ability to manage high-value client relationships. The Senior IT Sales Executive will be responsible for generating new business, developing and executing sales strategies, achieving sales targets, attending key IT events, and leveraging social media platforms to build brand awareness and attract new leads.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development: Design and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company sales goals, with a focus on IT solutions and services.
  • Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, market research, and leveraging social media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.) to generate qualified leads.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, providing consultative sales and solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and demonstrations to prospective clients, effectively communicating the value proposition of the companys IT solutions.
  • Market Research: Stay up to date on industry trends, competitors, and technological advancements to identify opportunities and anticipate client needs.
  • Negotiation and Closing: Lead the negotiation process, closing sales, and ensuring contracts align with both client expectations and company objectives.
  • Sales Forecasting & Reporting: Track sales performance and provide regular reports to senior management on progress towards sales targets, opportunities, and challenges.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross departmental teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Customer Satisfaction & Retention: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by following up post-sale, addressing client concerns, and identifying upsell opportunities.
  • IT Event Participation: Attend relevant IT industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network, generate leads, and stay informed on emerging trends and technologies. Represent the company as a thought leader and stay connected with potential clients and partners.
  • Social Media Promotions: Plan, develop and implement social media campaigns that highlight the companys IT solutions. Engage with the online IT community, share relevant content, and use social platforms to build brand awareness and generate sales leads.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
  • 4+ years of proven experience in IT sales, with a strong focus on enterprise solutions, cloud computing, software, or IT services.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets in the IT industry.
  • Strong understanding of IT solutions, software products, and related services.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of managing multiple high-priority accounts simultaneously.
  • Ability to understand and translate complex technical concepts into clear, customer-friendly solutions.
  • Proficiency in using social media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.) for lead generation and brand awareness.
  • Strong communication (written & spoken) in English Language.
  • Prior experience in domestic & international sales in US and other regions.

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong network and established relationships with C-level executives and decision-makers in the IT space.
  • Knowledge of current IT industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor landscape.

Working Conditions:
