Power BI Developer

Overview:

As a Power BI Developer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing BI solutions using Power BI. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their reporting needs and deliver actionable insights through interactive dashboards and reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards based on user requirements.
• Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Optimize Power BI data models for performance and scalability.
• Integrate Power BI with various data sources, including SQL databases, Excel, and cloud services.
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency by conducting data validation and quality checks.
• Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI functionalities and best practices.
• Stay updated with the latest Power BI features and industry trends to enhance reporting capabilities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Work with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making processes.

Qualifications:

• 6-8 years of experience in BI development, with a focus on Power BI.
• Strong proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power Query, DAX, and Power BI Service.
• Experience with SQL Server, data modeling, and ETL processes.
• Knowledge of data visualization best practices and techniques.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure) and data warehousing concepts is a plus.
