Power BI Developer

- Design, develop, and deploy Power BI reports and dashboards based on business requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify key business metrics and reporting requirements.
- Lead the migration of Tableau dashboards to Power BI, ensuring a smooth transition, data accuracy, and the preservation of all functionalities.
- Optimize data models and DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) for enhanced performance and scalability within Power BI.
- Ensure seamless integration with various data sources (SQL, Excel, cloud services, APIs) for reporting purposes.
- Build and reuse template/components/web services across multiple dashboards.
- Perform data analysis and validation to ensure accuracy in reporting and visualization.
- Implement security policies and maintain compliance with internal data governance policies and access controls to safeguard sensitive data within Power BI.
- Provide user training and support to ensure a smooth transition from Tableau to Power BI.
- Stay updated with the latest Power BI features, tools, and best practices, and incorporates them into existing and new projects.
- 5-8 years of proven experience in Power BI and Tableau with a focus on data visualization and BI tool migration.
- A Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline is required.
- Experience in the design, development, and deployment of BI systems.
- Proven experience in migrating Tableau reports to Power BI and developing Power BI solutions.
- Strong experience with SQL, data modelling, and ETL processes.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs.
