Logistics & Documentation Executive (International Business)

Role & responsibilities :

• The candidate will be responsible for coordinating with internal and external operations to ensure timely and efficient export shipment.
• Strong understanding of Export regulations, documentation requirements, and INCO terms.
• Regular tracking and tracing of shipment status are crucial, with updates provided to internal teams, and informing about any delays of shipments.
• Providing MIS reports to management, sending pre-shipment documents to Customs House Agents (CHA).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Prompt interaction with all levels of an organization; lead effectively as well as follow supervision.
• Resolving documentation discrepancies impacting shipment clearance and ensuring effective communication with relevant parties.
• Liaison with external agencies for shipment of export consignment, interaction with Export Promotion Council, Chamber of commerce, Customs, Port Authorities.

Preferred candidate profile

• Minimum of 8+ years experience in Import & Export industry or Customs house brokers or Shipping.
• Experience in Export Commercial activity, Export Incentives, Statutory matters.
• Experience in handling multiple banks for export inward remittance and regularisation of export documents.
• Experience in handling Forwarder, CHA and Shipping lines.
• Experience in Pre and Post Export shipment planning documentation, Co-ordination for movement of stock from factory to port and monitoring all formalities for shipment of cargo from port to ultimate destination.
• Knowledge in SAP Module.
