We are looking for a Director of Software QA to lead the QA practice for our SaaS CLM product. This role involves strategizing, implementing, and managing robust QA processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality, reliable software that meets and exceeds industry standards and client expectations.
What you will do:
Develop and execute a comprehensive QA strategy aligned with business objectives and industry standards, with a focus on SaaS and CLM.
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Establish and implement QA policies, procedures, and methodologies to enhance product quality and delivery efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, product management, and project management to identify quality improvement opportunities and drive implementation.
Design, implement, and oversee automated testing frameworks and tools to streamline testing processes and improve overall efficiency. Develop and implement a comprehensive test automation strategy.
Monitor and analyze product quality metrics, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to drive continuous quality improvement.
Manage relationships with stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and understanding of quality objectives and requirements.
Define clear quality goals, metrics, and KPIs.
Design and implement robust QA processes, including test planning, test case design, test automation, performance testing, security testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Establish a robust defect management process, ensuring timely identification, tracking, resolution, and reporting of defects. Analyze defect trends and identify areas for improvement in the development process.
Drive continuous improvement in quality processes and practices, staying abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies. Identify opportunities to optimize testing methodologies and improve overall product quality.
What you bring:
Proven track record of leading and managing QA teams and implementing QA strategies for complex software products, ideally SaaS products in the CLM domain.
Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, testing tools, and automation frameworks.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable quality improvement initiatives.
12 to 15 years of progressive experience in QA within the IT industry.
Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering or a related field.
Certifications in QA (eg, ISTQB, Six Sigma) are highly desirable.
Proven experience in QA leadership roles.
Experience with SaaS products and cloud-based platforms is essential.
Experience in the CLM domain is a significant advantage.
