Job Title: Plant HR Head
Location: Everest Industries Ltd., Nashik Plant

Our Nashik plant plays a pivotal role in the production of roofing solutions, pre-engineered buildings, and insulation materials. As a growing organization, we are looking for an experienced and dynamic Plant HR Head to manage all HR functions at our Nashik plant.
Position Summary
The Plant HR Head will be responsible for overseeing all human resource functions within the Nashik manufacturing plant. The role will involve managing recruitment, employee relations, performance management, labor law compliance, training and development, and overall HR strategy execution, while ensuring smooth cooperation with the plant's union.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Relations and Union Management
- Serve as the key liaison between the management and the plant union, ensuring harmonious industrial relations.
- Handle grievance resolution, conflict management, and ensure adherence to union agreements.
- Facilitate open communication channels between workers, management, and the union to resolve any issues promptly.
- Collaborate with union representatives to negotiate terms, working conditions, and resolve disputes while adhering to legal requirements.
Recruitment and Onboarding
- Oversee the recruitment process for the plant, ensuring a streamlined hiring process for both permanent and contractual employees.
- Work with hiring managers to understand manpower requirements, create job descriptions, and conduct interviews and selection.
- Manage the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring compliance with all company policies and legal requirements.
Performance Management
- Develop and implement performance management processes to drive employee engagement and productivity.
- Work with managers to ensure regular performance appraisals and development discussions.
- Support in identifying training needs and design programs to address skill gaps.
Compliance and Legal Functions
- Ensure strict compliance with labor laws and industrial regulations (e.g., Factory Act, PF, ESI, etc.).
- Stay updated on changes in labor laws and ensure the plant's policies and practices are compliant.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records related to employee data, attendance, leave, and statutory compliance.
Employee Welfare and Engagement
- Lead initiatives to improve employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention at the plant.
- Design and implement welfare programs and activities that promote a positive work culture.
- Ensure timely and efficient resolution of employee grievances and concerns, fostering a motivated workforce.
Training and Development
- Identify training needs for plant employees and facilitate skill development programs to enhance employee capabilities.
- Coordinate with corporate HR to implement leadership and technical training programs.
Compensation and Benefits
- Monitor and manage compensation practices at the plant to ensure competitive and equitable pay structures.
- Oversee payroll processing, including salary, bonuses, and statutory deductions in compliance with applicable laws.
Health, Safety, and Well-being
- Work closely with the safety team to ensure adherence to health and safety protocols at the plant.
- Promote a safe, healthy work environment, and support the implementation of policies that align with the organization's well-being goals.
Reporting and Analytics
- Prepare and submit regular HR reports to the Plant Head and corporate HR team on key HR metrics (e.g., attrition, absenteeism, engagement, etc.).
- Conduct surveys, analysis, and other studies to measure employee satisfaction and provide recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a manufacturing plant environment.
- Prior experience in handling union relations, labor laws, and compliance in a manufacturing setting is essential.
- Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws and industrial relations.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to handle complex union relations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven track record in managing HR functions in large-scale manufacturing operations.
- Knowledge of HRMS, SAP, or any other HR software systems.
- Strategic thinking, problem-solving skills, and a results-oriented mindset.
