Accounts Payable - Sr. Executive, Manager, Assistant Manager

Job Description: Senior Executive/Manager/Assistant Manager - Accounts Payable

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounts Payable Operations:

• Manage end-to-end accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, payments, and reconciliation.
• Ensure timely and accurate payment to vendors while maintaining compliance with company policies and tax regulations.

2. Vendor Management:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and resolve payment discrepancies efficiently.
• Oversee vendor account reconciliation and timely closure of issues.

3. Process Optimization:

• Identify areas for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency.
• Support automation initiatives to streamline AP workflows.

4. Compliance and Reporting:

• Ensure adherence to internal controls, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
• Prepare and review periodic reports, such as aging reports and cash flow forecasts.

5. Team Collaboration:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, treasury, and finance.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff (for managerial roles).

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA/CA preferred for managerial roles).
• Proven experience in accounts payable with expertise in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Strong knowledge of tax regulations, GST, and TDS.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to handle high volumes of transactions and multitask effectively.

Experience:

• Senior Executive: 4+ years
• Assistant Manager: 7+years
• Manager: 8+ years
