Job Description

EXPERIENCE OF HANDLING TEAM IS MANDATORY

Shift Timing : 12 Noon - 9 PM (Transport Provided)


Summary of Role:

  • Supervises the team which works on verifying the rates in contract, carriers invoice audit, invoice processing, invoice payment and customer support functions of the RXO Billing & Settlements Team (Finance Team)
  • Ensures compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, carrier and customer contracts and policies.
  • Manage the auditing & billing and finance procedures.
  • Coach and mentors, the team in the execution of business processes.
  • Coordination with RNR and carriers Record and manage Billing/Audit issues.
  • Communicate across all process/department AP/AR /IT to determine the source of the issue and resolve it.
  • Driving process calls & preparing & Maintaining SWI's for any new projects/workflows.
  • Developing a repository where necessary documents, reports, files etc.
  • Identify the gaps in process and making sure the regular training/refresher are conducted Further conduct assessment & developing a strategy to accomplish certain tasks & deliverables.
  • Frequently recommends methods of improving the quality of service and improvising the process.
  • Focuses on meeting and exceeds team production targets, SLAs, improving process improvements and bringing about efficiencies in the team.
  • Have a result-oriented mindset with focus on exceeding set goals.
  • Ability to run a production environment successfully and constant focus on data-driven results.
  • Ability to work across cross-functional and multifaceted teams, systems, and process-flows.
  • Focus on process reengineering and kaizen approach to current and new business/account transitions.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Maintain employee work schedules including assignments, trainings, vacations, absenteeism, and overtime.
  • Domain knowledge of Freight Industry and Transportation Specific deliverables and processes.
  • Conceive and oversee process improvements with RXO operations and RXO customers to ensure accurate and timely processing of carrier invoices in the most efficient and cost-effective manner.
  • Participate in audits of carrier invoices with RXO customers and their external/internal auditors for both financial and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance/Company allotted Compliances.
  • Participate in the completion of major RXO level initiatives and projects as requested by executive management to meet RXO operating and financial objectives.
  • Conceive, evaluate, develop, recommend implement and oversee process improvement strategies.
  • Develop direct reports to increase the bench strength and flexibility of the team. Ensure that employees receive appropriate training and resources to perform their jobs effectively and efficiently.
  • Ensure a positive work environment and awareness of all staff of company goals and objectives and compliance to all applicable employment policies.

Technical Skills:

  • Advanced knowledge of office practices, procedures, and equipment.
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills.
  • Giving the team set targets & taking regular feedback. Good interpersonal skills, participate in a team environment and build strong working relationship.
  • Solid time management skills must have ability to multi-task and prioritize workloads; demonstrated analytical capabilities; effectively identify and resolve problems.
  • Ensure team is following the right structured process & protocols.
  • Develop schedules and timetables with clear, specific milestones and deadlines.
  • Should set certain rules and principles & adhere to follow to be more productive and efficient with your deliverables on time.
  • Displays collective responsibility for success and failures within the scope of influence and positively impacts the team to do so too.
  • Takes the initiative to complete assignments early for self & team; consistently exceeds expectations regarding the timing of deliverables.
  • Partners with people from other verticals to improve overall performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors/Masters degree required.
  • 3+ years transportation finance / freight billing experience
  • System knowledge should include advanced Microsoft Excel skills, and working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong analytical skills to analyse complex business processes and identify risk; apply sound, well-balanced reasoning to reach decisions quickly and accurately.
  • Good interpersonal skills: participate in a team environment and build strong working relationships.
  • Solid project management skills; time management skills; multi-task and prioritize workloads; demonstrated analytical capabilities; effectively identify and resolve problems in high visibility, high stress situations.
