Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and experienced SAP Dev Ops Senior Consultant, responsible for streamlining our SAP development and operations processes, implementing automation strategies, and ensuring continuous integration and delivery.
- Design and implement end-to-end DevOps pipelines for SAP environments, including source control, continuous integration (CI), continuous delivery (CD), and automated testing.
- Collaborate with SAP development teams to adopt Agile and DevOps best practices, including version control, code review, and automated deployments.
- Manage and optimize SAP systems for performance, scalability, and high availability.
- Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline SAP operations and reduce manual efforts.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of SAP solutions with other enterprise systems and cloud services.
- Monitor SAP systems and applications, implementing proactive measures to prevent downtime and performance issues.
- Provide technical expertise in troubleshooting and resolving complex SAP issues.
- Stay current with the latest SAP technologies, DevOps tools, and industry best practices.
- Educate and mentor team members on DevOps processes and technologies.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures in all DevOps activities.
Experience
- 3-7 years of relevant experience in SAP Dev Ops.
- Successfully completed at least two end-to-end implementations.
- Strong understanding of SAP landscapes and architecture.
- Experience with SAP automation tools such as SAP Solution Manager, SAP Cloud Platform, or third-party DevOps tools.
- Experience of having worked in a client facing delivery role.
- Experience in working in client-facing delivery roles, with a proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships.
Competencies / Skills
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell, Python, or PowerShell.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their integration with SAP systems.
- Strong customer handling skills, with the ability to build relationships and provide mentorship to team members.
- Excellent communication skills for translating functional requirements into design documents.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Able to handle multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively within diverse teams, while independently driving key deliverables.
Education
- Graduate from a reputed educational institution.
- Relevant SAP Dev Ops Certification (preferred).
Note Must possess a valid passport and be willing to travel for client site work (domestic and international).
