Job Objective: We are looking for a supply chain professional who is responsible for managing and overseeing the entire import and export process, from preparing necessary documentation to coordinating logistics.
Responsibilities: Prepare & verify all import/export documentation, including invoices, shipping documents, and customs declaration.
Ensure compliance with local and international laws and regulations, such as customs laws.
Manage any tariff, duties, duty remission & duty exemption scheme (Advance authorization, DBK, RODTEP etc).
Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and logistics providers to ensure smooth transportation of goods.
Maintain communication with customs officials and port authorities for smooth cargo clearance.
Manage and monitor shipments to ensure goods are shipped and delivered on time.
Identify opportunities to reduce import/export costs and negotiate with vendors for favorable terms.
Maintain accurate records of all import/export activities, costs, and timelines.
Generate reports on import/export metrics and performance.
Work closely with the internal sales, finance, and warehouse to ensure that all import/export activities align with company objectives.
Job Specification & Skill: Graduate in any field (preferred degree in Business Administration, international trade, logistics, or SCM).
2+ years in Import/Export, Warehouse, or Supply Chain Management.
Strong knowledge of import/export regulations & documentation.
Knowledge of the warehousing process.
Familiarity with international shipping procedures, Incoterms, and logistics management.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Problem-solving abilities and strong attention to detail.
