Country Head/Plant Head - Manufacturing/Recycling Sector (10-15 yrs)

Job Opportunity: Country Head / Plant Head - Romania

We are seeking an experienced leader to oversee our operations in Romania. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mid-sized manufacturing or recycling firms, with at least 5 years as a business unit or profit center head, and mandatory overseas experience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee and ensure safe, efficient plant operations, delivering high-quality output.

- Develop and achieve goals aligned with the company's vision and objectives.

- Align strategy, structure, staffing, skills, style, and processes with business objectives.

- Analyze business needs and implement appropriate actions.

- Foster a result-oriented team environment.

- Manage operational and financial performance across all overseas centers under your supervision.

- Develop business plans and secure management approval.

- Ensure compliance with productivity, quality, and service delivery metrics.

- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to maintain best practices.

- Conduct market surveys for new product development.

- Drive business development, growth, capacity expansion, and product diversification.

- Liaise with government authorities, local political leaders, and community heads.

- Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations.

- Plan annual resource requirements and manage sourcing.

- Continuously analyze production, expenses, and fund utilization to optimize revenues.

- Maximize raw material procurement and minimize overhead costs.

- Monitor daily activities of foreign centers and report to the Operations Head.

- Set and pursue monthly targets for centers.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BE/B.Tech) or equivalent; MBA in Operations preferred.

- 10-12 years of relevant experience, preferably in the recycling sector.

- Proven leadership in mid-sized manufacturing or recycling firms.

Mandatory overseas experience.

This role requires frequent travel to multiple overseas locations.
