About the Role:
Leading pharma company in Animal Health Care is seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to drive growth and innovation across its four key divisions: Veterinary, Poultry, Cattle, and Livestock. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with deep expertise in the animal health market, exceptional sales and marketing acumen, and a proven track record of leading high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy Development: Identify and analyze market segments within each division and tailor sales approaches accordingly. Develop sales forecasts based on market analysis, historical sales data, and emerging trends. Optimize sales channels, including direct sales, distributors, and e-commerce platforms. Establish performance metrics to track sales effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
Distribution Strategy Development:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key distributors in Veterinary, Poultry, Cattle, and Livestock sectors. Develop partnerships with wholesale distributors and retail outlets to enhance product availability. Collaborate with logistics teams to optimize inventory levels and ensure efficient distribution. Explore opportunities for geographical expansion in underserved markets.
Over-the-Counter (OTC) Product Management:
- Develop targeted marketing campaigns to promote OTC products among veterinarians and pet owners. Work with retail partners to optimize shelf placement and promotional strategies.
Engagement with Veterinary Hospitals:
- Strengthen relationships with veterinary hospitals to drive product adoption. Develop educational programs and marketing materials to highlight product benefits. Design promotional campaigns tailored for veterinary professionals.
- Represent the company at industry trade shows and conferences.
- Conduct sales training programs for distribution partners to enhance product knowledge and customer engagement.
Collaboration with Other Departments:
- Work closely with R&D, production, and supply chain teams to align market demands with product availability.
