JOB TITLE - PLANT HEAD

LOCATION - Greater Noida

Role Description:

Our Client is a leading manufacturer of PVC, uPVC and CPV pipes and fittings and we are hiring a Plant Head who will be accountable for the entire manufacturing and production function.

The plant- head will manage the people and budgetary management; Strategic responsibility for implementing manufacturing strategy and operational goals to exceed customer expectations for product quality, cost and delivery, maximizing efficiency, optimizing production levels.

Key Responsibilities:

- Effective leader in leading team for achieving production and productivity targets to the highest quality standard while satisfying customer needs to stay ahead of competition.

- In depth experience of processing consisting of injection molding, blow molding, extrusion

- Injection/ blow mold design and maintenance.

- The successful incumbent should have worked in medium or large size company as a Plant Head responsible for production, productivity, plant operations, profitability and customer service.

- Overall responsibility for manufacturing activities across the business.

- Plan, organize, direct and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed our expectations

- Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results

- Create and implement best practice manufacturing vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve business performance.

- Ensure that manufacturing strategies and processes are in place to meet business objectives and operational needs in terms of price, quality and delivery targets and which enables the company to function and compete effectively in the market.

- Evaluate the challenges faced by the business and take action to mitigate risks and develop opportunities.

- Contribute to overall business strategy and annual budget process

- Report on Manufacturing activities on a regular basis to the Senior Management team, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of the relevant Key Performance Indicators

- Lead, develop and implement variable cost productivity programs across all areas of responsibility

- Provide leadership to departments under control and coach, mentor and develop direct reports and manage a high performing team that delivers continuous improvement, added value and cost reductions

- Collect and analyze data to find places of waste or overtime

- Ensure strong communication between teams under leadership to facilitate exchange of information and in order to implement change and improvements
