Position : VP - Sales BD
Job Summary
Responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth and market penetration and expand the company s footprint nationally. Lead a team of sales professionals, set ambitious targets and work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve our business objective.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales Strategy Development
Build and lead the company s sales on a national level and generate revenue.
Analyze market trends, customers preferences, and competitive dynamics to identify opportunities to maximize sales potential.
Develop and improve sales analytics to monitor and track sales performance.
Develop go-to-market strategies for new regions, including market research, pricing strategies, and competitive positioning.
Team Leadership
Providing on ground leadership to engage with top retention accounts and top high potential revenue and group accounts
Recruit, train and manage a high performing sales team, providing mentorship, coaching and performance evaluations.
Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the sales team.
Set clear sales targets and KPIs for the team and monitor their progress.
Revenue Generation
Drive revenue growth by effectively managing and expanding the sales pipeline.
Driving the sales cycle/process by understanding the customer buying process and needs; focusing on solutions; seeking to understand the challenge; keeping a consultative approach; and obtaining customer commitments.
Evolve the team to a revenue generating mindset from the current service delivery orientation.
Maintain strong relationship with key clients, partners and stakeholders.
Active involvement in strategic sales activities including super premium account management and deal negotiations.
Sales Operations
Implement and optimize sales processes, workflows, and tools to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Collaborate with other departments such as product development, technical support and deployment in terms of driving deep engagement with school stakeholders, resulting in better retention of schools and upsell/cross-sell of products.
Ensure accurate and timely reporting of sales metrics, forecasts and market insights to senior management.
Customer Delight
Increasing customer loyalty and satisfaction by addressing customer needs, their pain points and feedback.
Identify the factors and facets which drives customer loyalty.
Regularly interact and communicate with customers to create a WOW factor and increase the bonding. Work closely with the technical support and product development teams to enhance product offerings based on customer insights.
