Head - Sales
- The Head of Sales is a leadership position with full responsibility for revenue generation, P&L accountability, and driving the company's growth.
- This individual will play an integral role in developing new business, managing a small but dynamic team, and driving sales results.
- The ideal candidate will be highly experienced in B2C sales, particularly within the BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) sector, with a deep understanding of financial investment products such as Mutual Funds, Insurance, etc.
- Revenue Generation & P&L Management: Lead revenue growth, meet sales targets, and manage P&L accountability for the sales department.
- New Business Development: Drive new client acquisition in the B2C segment, prospect new opportunities, and close deals effectively.
- Team Leadership: Manage and motivate a small sales team, ensuring training, performance management, and achievement of sales goals.
- Sales Process Oversight: Oversee the end-to-end sales process, from lead generation to onboarding new clients.
- Target Achievement: Achieve short-term and long-term sales targets, ensuring consistent performance.
- Collaboration & Reporting: Work with internal teams (product, marketing) to align sales strategies and report on performance.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships, focusing on retention and growth opportunities.
Specific Criteria Required:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in B2C sales, with a proven track record of driving revenue and achieving sales targets, particularly in the BFSI industry.
- Strong experience with financial investment products such as mutual funds, wealth management, or other financial services.
- Candidates with experience in fintech or wealth management will be highly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- An MBA or other relevant advanced qualifications are a plus.

- Deep understanding of the financial services industry, specifically investment products and market trends.
- Proven ability to manage P&L, including budgeting and forecasting.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on motivation, coaching, and development.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, startup environment, demonstrating flexibility and entrepreneurial spirit.
- Highly results-driven with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.
