Payroll Executive

Role & responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end payroll processes, including salary calculations, deductions, and disbursements.
• Ensure timely and accurate payment of salaries, bonuses, and other benefits.
• Process attendance, leave, and overtime data for payroll calculations.
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations such as tax filings, provident fund (PF), employee state insurance (ESI), and gratuity.
• Prepare and submit payroll reports, including TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) and other statutory returns.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payroll legislation and adjust practices accordingly.
• Maintain accurate employee records, including salary structures, benefits, and deductions.
• Handle payroll software/system updates and troubleshooting.
• Generate and analyze payroll reports as required by management.
• Address employee queries related to salaries, tax deductions, and other payroll matters.
• Assist in onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring proper payout and final settlement.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance payroll accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaborate with HR and Finance teams for seamless integration of payroll and accounting functions.
