Job Description

The Lead Content Developer is responsible for creating and enhancing engaging, effective, and tailored training materials that address the learning and development needs of various functions (Operations, Supply Chain Management, Production Centers, etc.) across ASL and its subsidiaries. This role involves conducting Training Need Identification (TNI), visiting stores, Production Centers(PC's) and distribution centers (DCs), and collaborating with key stakeholders to understand the requirements and intricacies of each function. The Lead Content Developer will also be responsible for developing high-quality training content, including guides, assessments, and collateral, using different learning methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Training Need Identification & Analysis:
  • Conduct comprehensive Training Need Identification (TNI) and analysis for different roles in multiple functions such as Operations, Supply Chain Management, Production Centers, across ASL and its subsidiaries.
  • Collaborate with Function Heads, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and field representatives to accurately determine training requirements.

  • Observation & Role Analysis:
  • Visit Stores/DCs/ PCs regularly to observe role holders in their work environment, understanding their daily tasks and the processes they follow.
  • Analyze the interconnection of these processes with other processes across Store/DC/PC, ensuring a holistic approach to the learning content.

  • Training Content Development:
  • Develop training materials, including Trainer Guides, Participant Guides, Assessments, and other training collateral.
  • Ensure the content is clear, concise, and easy to understand, incorporating various learning methodologies to cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Design interactive and engaging learning solutions that meet the specific needs of the organization and its employees.

  • Content Upgradation & Feedback Incorporation:
  • Continuously improve training modules based on feedback from Function Heads, SMEs, field teams, and other stakeholders.
  • Modify and upgrade existing training materials to ensure relevance and effectiveness in addressing evolving business needs and skills gaps.

  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
  • Work closely with the business leaders, and other departments to align training initiatives with organizational goals.
  • Participate in regular reviews and discussions with the leadership and functional teams to ensure the learning programs are meeting expectations.
