The Product Marketing Manager (IT) is responsible for developing and executing go-to-market strategies for specific IT products or services. This role requires a deep understanding of the IT market, customer needs, and competitive landscape. The ideal candidate will be a data-driven individual with strong analytical and communication skills, and a passion for technology.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute go-to-market plans for new and existing IT products/services, including product positioning, messaging, and launch activities.
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify target audiences, understand their needs, and develop compelling value propositions.
Create and maintain product marketing materials, such as datasheets, brochures, presentations, website content, and case studies.
Develop and manage product launches, including press releases, media outreach, and internal communications.
Collaborate with sales, product management, engineering, and other cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches and ongoing marketing efforts.
Track, analyze, and report on the performance of product marketing campaigns, identifying key metrics and making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in the IT industry and the competitive landscape.
Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in product marketing, preferably in the IT industry.
Strong understanding of the IT market, including software, hardware, or cloud solutions.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data and draw meaningful insights.
Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
Experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot) is a plus.
Proven ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
