SAP ABAP Consultant (7-10 yrs)

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant with 7 to 10 years of expertise, including a strong focus on SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) report development.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in ABAP development and integrating data into SAC reports.

In this client-facing role, the consultant will collaborate directly with clients to understand their SAP S/4 HANA source systems and their reporting requirements, ensuring the seamless design and delivery of ABAP solutions and SAC reports that meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities :

Client Interaction & Requirement Gathering :

- Engage with clients to understand their business processes, reporting needs, and SAP S/4 HANA system configuration.

- Conduct requirement gathering sessions with business users to identify key reporting metrics and translate them into technical solutions in ABAP and SAC.

- Provide expert advice on best practices for integrating SAP data into SAC for enhanced reporting and analytics.

Required Skills and Experience :

- 7-10 years of experience in SAP ABAP development, with a strong focus on SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) report development.

- Extensive experience with ABAP Objects, CDS views, OData services, and BAPIs/RFCs.

- Proficiency in SAP Analytics Cloud, including model creation, story design, data acquisition, and advanced analytics.

- Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture and data models.

- Experience with data extraction and transformation for SAC reporting.

- Proven ability to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and client management skills.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

- Experience with SAP Web IDE for ABAP.

- Experience with Live Data Connections, and Import Data connections within SAC.

- Experience with SAC Administration
