ETL Developer (3-5 yrs)

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ETL Developer to join our growing data engineering team.

As an ETL Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust and efficient data pipelines that extract, transform, and load data from various sources into our data warehouse.

You will play a crucial role in ensuring data quality, availability, and performance for business intelligence and analytics.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement ETL processes using ETL tools (e., Informatica PowerCenter, SSIS, DataStage, Talend).

- Develop and maintain data mappings, transformations, and workflows.

- Optimize ETL processes for performance and scalability.

- Implement data quality checks and validation rules.

- Integrate data from various sources, including databases, APIs, flat files, and cloud platforms.

- Extract data from source systems, transform it according to business rules, and load it into the data warehouse.

- Implement data cleansing and standardization processes.

- Understand data warehouse concepts and dimensional modeling.

- Collaborate with data architects to design and implement data warehouse schemas.

- Support data warehouse maintenance and performance tuning.

- Develop and execute unit tests and integration tests for ETL processes.

- Ensure data quality and accuracy through rigorous testing.

- Troubleshoot and resolve data integration issues.

- Document ETL processes, data mappings, and transformations.

- Provide support to business users on data access and usage.

- Collaborate effectively with data architects, data analysts, and business users.

- Communicate technical information clearly and concisely.

Qualifications :

Essential :

- 3+ years of experience in ETL development and data integration.

- Strong proficiency in at least one ETL tool (e., Informatica PowerCenter, SSIS, DataStage, Talend).

- Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases (e., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL).

- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
