SAP Automation DevOps Engineer - CI/CD Pipeline (3-4 yrs)

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP Automation DevOps Engineer to join our team.

You will play a critical role in automating and streamlining SAP landscapes, ensuring efficient and reliable delivery of SAP solutions.

This role requires a strong understanding of SAP technologies, DevOps principles, and a passion for automation.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for SAP applications using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or AWS CodePipeline.

- Automate SAP landscape management tasks such as system provisioning, patching, upgrades, and transports.

- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet to manage SAP environments.

- Integrate SAP with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and leverage cloud-native services.

- Develop and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve issues in SAP environments.

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to SAP automation and DevOps.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP technologies, DevOps best practices, and industry trends.

- Collaborate with SAP Basis administrators, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Qualifications :

Essential :

- 3+ years of experience in SAP Basis Administration or a related role.

- Strong understanding of SAP technologies and architecture.

- Experience with DevOps principles and practices, including CI/CD, automation, and infrastructure as code.

- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g, Python, Bash, PowerShell).

- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps).

- Experience with at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
