About the Role :

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead DevOps Engineer to join our growing team. You will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.

This role requires a strong understanding of DevOps principles, hands-on experience with various cloud technologies, and a passion for automation and continuous improvement.

You will also be a technical leader and mentor for other DevOps engineers.

Responsibilities :

- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) : Design, implement, and manage our cloud infrastructure (primarily AWS, Azure, or GCP - specify which one or if multi-cloud) using IaC tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.

- Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) : Develop and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or similar. Automate build, test, and deployment processes.

- System Administration : Manage and maintain Linux-based systems, including performance monitoring, security hardening, and troubleshooting.

- Cloud Management : Oversee and optimize cloud resources, ensuring cost efficiency and performance. Implement best practices for cloud security and compliance.

- Monitoring and Logging : Implement and manage monitoring and logging systems using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or similar. Proactively identify and resolve infrastructure issues.

- Automation : Automate repetitive tasks using scripting languages like Python, Bash, or similar.

- Collaboration : Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth and efficient deployments.

- Leadership and Mentorship : Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, providing technical guidance and fostering a collaborative environment. Conduct code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

- Problem Solving : Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and application deployment issues.

- Security : Implement and maintain security best practices across the infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.

- Documentation : Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure, processes, and tools.

- Research and Evaluation : Stay up-to-date with the latest DevOps trends and technologies, and evaluate their potential impact on our infrastructure.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- 8+ years of experience in DevOps engineering or a similar role.

- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates).

- Extensive experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or similar).

- Deep understanding of Linux system administration.

- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, or similar).

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

- Strong understanding of networking concepts.

- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or similar).

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Proven ability to lead and mentor a team.

- Relevant certifications (Azure Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator, Terraform Associate/Professional) are a plus
