Head Mechanical (DGM/GM)

*Roles and Responsibilities:-

1. Expertise in Mechanical Maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution of preventive and breakdown maintenance.
2. Proficiency in Cost Optimization and strategic spares planning.
3. Development and execution of business plans and cash flow plans for mechanical operations.
4. Strong Conflict Management skills to resolve operational and team challenges effectively.
5. Overseeing tendering processes for developmental and new projects.
6. Comprehensive Manpower Planning & Management for optimal resource utilization.
7. Creation and implementation of development and succession plans within the department.
8. Development and upkeep of departmental procedures, demonstrating complexity management expertise.
9. In-depth knowledge and implementation of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), Kaizen, and 5S methodologies.
10. Efficient interface management with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless collaboration and MIS reporting.
11. Advanced skills in Maintenance Planning with a focus on minimizing downtime and ensuring operational excellence.

*Functional Competencies:

1. Core expertise in Mechanical Maintenance Planning and Management.
2. A minimum of 20+ years of experience in the Power, Metallurgy, or Construction industries.
3. Sound knowledge of TPM, Kaizen, and 5S principles.
4. At least 10 years of experience as a department head in relevant fields such as Power, Metallurgy, or Mining.
5. Strong Strategic Management capabilities for achieving organizational goals.
6. Expertise in Vendor Development and relationship management.
7. Proficiency in Cost Optimization and Spare Planning to enhance operational efficiency.
