AGM/DGM -Engineering (Head)

Job Description

Position Summary:(Purpose, expected results & degree of freedom)Responsible for Planning, Coordination and control to get Engineering and establish plant policies and procedures and foster a well-trained and motivated staff.
Principal Job Responsibilities

• Review the operational practices, failure, and process changes for qualitative improvement/energy conversation undertaking regular inspections, eliminating unsafe operations to prevent accidents.
• Managing installation and commissioning of various mechanical equipment & plant machines and tracking project progress and taking steps for mitigating any risk.
• Directing project activities for strategic utilization of available resources as per schedules executing cost saving techniques to achieve reduction in terms of man days, raw materials & energy consumptions.
• Implementing maintenance schedules for various equipment, conducting periodic checks and managing documentation with key focus on reduction in delay and equipment uptime.
• Formulating New SOP`s of new equipment`s as per cGMP, and Regulatory guideline.
• Ensuring validation and calibrations of equipments are performed and recorded
• Motivating & developing competitive sub ordinates to achieve the goals
• Developing new equipment user requirements specifications, evaluation and procurement.
• Erection and commissioning of utility and plant equipments ,i.e water system, Compressed aire system, Cooling tower, Boiler, Piping fabrication, Reactors, Centrifuges, column, Pumps, and valves & heat exchangers, ETP.
• Operation and maintenance of chilled water system , compressed air system , Nitrogen plant , water treatment plant, cooling towers ,Steam boiler, ETP, and other plant equipments.
• Planning, Scheduling & Implementation of preventative, Corrective, breakdown and shutdown.
• Root cause analysis for reducing break down losses to increases plant availability.
• Managing all aspect of API manufacturing should be capable to manage API manufacturing plant including cGMP and regulatory compliance.

Qualification Minimum: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field Experience15 to 20 Years experience in API Manufacturing Unit.
